Dr. JJ Mokoena

"I strive to promote access to Sexual and Reproductive Health services by: providing the services, training and mentoring healthcare providers and by increasing the number of facilities that offer the services. I am passionate about Women’s Health and HIV management."

Dr Mokoena has been a provider of Safe Abortion Care since 2012. He has also been providing training in Comprehensive Abortion Care and other reproductive health topics.

He worked in an HIV unit at Galeshewe Day Hospital where he cared for people living with HIV. He was also responsible for Male Medical Circumcisions at the same hospital. He left in 2012 to focus on his private practice. His interest in safe abortion flourished when he worked with Ipas SA as a consultant trainer/facilitator from 2012 to 2014. He then joined Marie Stopes SA as a consultant provider and trainer. 

CONTRIBUTION TO THE COMMUNITY

We are a team of specialists who work together to bring knowledge and good health to our community and we believe in empowering the youth because they are the leaders of tomorrow. At JJM health we do our best to give you professional health care services and advice so you may enjoy a healthier and fuller life.

We hold periodic chess tournaments to empower the youth by encouraging them to interact with people outside their comfort zone.
